Pixie Hollow says Goodbye 2008
Pixie Hollow has posted a goodbye message for 2008 and is asking you all to comment on their blog with the best thing that happened in 2008, they also mention that they are happy with all the help that Silvermist has been getting with her current quest.

year for Pixie Hollow! This year we all got a chance to flap our wings for the first time and help bring about autumn and winter! From tailoring to shopping to the brand-new quests and tinker talent, 2008 in the Hollow has been simply flaptastic! What was your favorite thing that happened in the Hollow this year? Send us a comment and let us know.In other news, Silvermist has been fluttering with joy at all of the help she’s received on her Winter Wonderland quest! She came out to winter woods last week to celebrate the arrival of winter, and she’ll be back after the new year to thank everyone for their help!

Winter arrives at Pixie Hollow
The decorations are up and going over at Pixie Hollow, they are also allowing you to send a Pixie Hollow-day card.
Congratulations Fairies! Winter has successfully arrived on the mainland thanks to all of your gathering and donating efforts! And my, oh my - what an overwhelming amount of donations we received from all of you hard-working Fairies. It will be a while before we need any more donations, so you may have noticed the Donation Box has disappeared from your pouch. You can still use those ingredients on quests, of course. Tink and her pixie pals need a little dandelion fluff or buttercup petals from time to time…
I hope you’ve been keeping warm in the Winter Woods under the glow of the firefly decorations you helped light during the Great Firefly Light Up. Now you can also light up someone’s day, by giving them a special Pixie “Hollow-day” card - print it out here! Pixie Hollow Free Chat Activation
Pixie Hollow now requires you to activate your account to have free chat.
ISSUE #1: I used to be able to chat freely and now I can’t!
We are always trying to improve safety in the Hollow, so this week we have a new validation process for Fairies who wish to use Speedchat Plus. If you used to be able to chat freely and now cannot, make sure you choose Speedchat plus on the new Chat Preferences screen AND check your e-mail for additional validation steps.
ISSUE #2: Wow, love your new safety features, but I’ve already validated and am still seeing the Chat Preferences screen.
Gee whiz, that is weird! I’ll ask the tinker-talents to have a look, and we should have it sorted very soon. Thanks for your pixie patience, fly safely Fairies!

You’ll be able to find Tink there, as well as Fawn over in her hideout in Maple Tree Hill and Silvermist in her grotto in Dewdrop Vale. All of them have things to talk to you about and adventures for you to go on, so stop by for a visit! And when your wings get warm from all that flapping, fly on over to Winter Woods to cool down in one of the two new meadows!In other news, you may have noticed getting to the Hollow just got faster! We made some behind-the-scenes changes to get you in quicker — so much quicker, that you might get there before your Friends List or your Leaf Journal! If that happens to you, don’t worry — your Friends List, Chat Bar, Leaf Journal, Pouch and Access to your Fairy Home will all appear as soon as they are ready.
PSST! Secret tip! A little change was made to Spider Stitching in the tailoring nooks. Now you place your stitches when you let go of the mouse button, instead of when you press it down. Give it a try and let us know if you like the change!

Free Firefly Badge at Pixie Hollow
Sweet Pea over at the Pixie Hollow blog has posted the following about her friend Iridessa loosing her fireflies. Basically it’s mentioning that you can get a new Firefly badge if you go play the Firefly game.
Fairies, have you heard the awful news? Iridessa has LOST her fireflies! She worked so hard to light them all in different colors to decorate the new meadows for the Winter Wonderland Party and now they are nowhere to be found!
What do Fairies do when another Fairy needs help? Why, they help her of course! Let’s all get out there and play lots of Firefly Light-Up this week - if we all put our wings together, we should be able to light enough fireflies in time for the Winter Wonderland Party next week! As a thank you for helping Iridessa, the Never Council has released a shiny new set of Firefly Light-Up badges.
So what do you say, Fairies? Let’s all take part in the Great Firefly Light-Up and make Pixie Hollow sparkle more than ever!

Missing high score badges in Pixie Hollow?
Over at the Pixie Hollow Official Blog they have posted another entry outlining what to do if you loose your high score badges in Pixie Hollow. Looks like there was a bug in the system and they are explaining how to fix it

ISSUE: You scored 40,000 or more in Firefly Light-Up between December 9th and December 15th, but do not see that high score badge in your journal.
Fairies with talent enough to score more than 40,000 in Firefly Light-Up are being rewarded with a badge. Unfortunately, those Fairies who earned it this past weekend may not see it in their journal. Not to worry, the Never Council has a record of everything that happens! If you Leave Us a Note letting us know your Fairy name and score, we can check the books and make amends.

Pixie Hollow Choose the Next Talent
There is some new news at Pixie Hollow discussing some new taltent.
Fly with you, Fairies! I hope everyone had a great time at the Animal Masquerade. I know I did. I did the animal-talents proud by putting on m Tailflower Boots, Calla Lily Skirt, and Oak Leaf Sash all brown of course — to go with my Chipmunk ears.
