Better Club Penguin Igloo Catalog

Over at Club Penguin the developers are talking about releasing alot of things this month but on Friday they will be releasing a Better Igloo catalog.

We’ve been listening, and the team is really excited about a lot of things that will be coming up this month. We’re hoping you really love everything! On Friday there’s a new Better Igloos catalog, and it’s extra colorful - so you can deck out your igloos with some new, bright furniture items.

Speed Chat Plus for Free Players and Updates.

Over at Toontown they have some updates to the SpeedChat Plus. Animal sounds are back, Whispering is back for True Friends and they are reminding us that SpeedChat Plug is also available for free players.

SpeedChat Plus Updates
The Toon Council really hopes that everyone is enjoying SpeedChat Plus. We have been listening to your feedback, and based upon your comments, we have made some updates to this great new feature.

• Toon animal sounds are back! You can now manage Type Chat sounds in the Options page of your Shticker book.
• Toons with the “Open Chat with True Friends” feature can now group whisper to just their True Friends. To do so, click the Alt key and the Enter key at the same time when sending your message — and only your True Friends within your immediate vicinity will hear you.

Also, we want to remind players that SpeedChat Plus is open to everyone — including free Players. So if you haven’t activated SpeedChat Plus yet, grab a parent and click the link below to get started!

First Club Penguin Member Party 2008 Sneak Peak

There’s a sneak peak of the new member party over at the Club Penguin official blog. Hopefully some of the new items that have been coming out will be useful

Many of you have been asking about a member party and wondering when there would be another one–it’s definitely been a while since the last one.

Well, we’ve been working on exactly that! The next member party will happen in the middle of January, from the 15-18th. But it’s more than just a party–wait till you see what else the team has planned! I’ll have more details next week, and I don’t want to say too much - but I can tell you that some of the items in the new Penguin Style catalog will come in very handy.

I managed to get a sneak peek from the team to show you. See if you can guess what the event might be about…

Pirates Online New Years Eve Fireworks 2008 to 2009

Pirates online have started their 2008 to 2009 new years eve fireworks. Go log in and have a look.

Starting December 31 the night skies of the Caribbean will be alight with explosive shows of color, courtesy of our Pirate brethren from the Far East. Pick a beach on Tortuga, Port Royal, or Padres Del Fuego - or celebrate the New Year onboard a sailing ship - and enjoy the show!

Make merry by using a new emote released exclusively for the celebration - just type “/noise” into the chat window and start making noise! Happy New Year, mates!

Pixie Hollow says Goodbye 2008

Pixie Hollow has posted a goodbye message for 2008 and is asking you all to comment on their blog with the best thing that happened in 2008, they also mention that they are happy with all the help that Silvermist has been getting with her current quest.

year for Pixie Hollow! This year we all got a chance to flap our wings for the first time and help bring about autumn and winter! From tailoring to shopping to the brand-new quests and tinker talent, 2008 in the Hollow has been simply flaptastic! What was your favorite thing that happened in the Hollow this year? In other news, Silvermist has been fluttering with joy at all of the help she’s received on her Winter Wonderland quest! She came out to winter woods last week to celebrate the arrival of winter, and she’ll be back after the new year to thank everyone for their help!

Club Penguin have released a new mission, number 10, this one is about Herbet making trouble. They have also put up the fireworks.

Winter arrives at Pixie Hollow

The decorations are up and going over at Pixie Hollow, they are also allowing you to send a Pixie Hollow-day card.

Congratulations Fairies! Winter has successfully arrived on the mainland thanks to all of your gathering and donating efforts! And my, oh my - what an overwhelming amount of donations we received from all of you hard-working Fairies. It will be a while before we need any more donations, so you may have noticed the Donation Box has disappeared from your pouch. You can still use those ingredients on quests, of course. Tink and her pixie pals need a little dandelion fluff or buttercup petals from time to time…

I hope you’ve been keeping warm in the Winter Woods under the glow of the firefly decorations you helped light during the Great Firefly Light Up. Now you can also light up someone’s day, by giving them a special Pixie “Hollow-day” card - print it out here! Screenhog Sneak Peak and Treasure book update.

There is a new Treasure Book update and a sneak peak at Screenhog’s mission.

Hi everyone! Screenhog here.

There are some questions after Saturday’s blog post about the Treasure Book update. New Club Penguin toys will be available in the next couple of weeks - and those new toys have codes that will access the updated book. But if you have a toy from the first wave of toys (like the Santa, Elf, Rockhopper, Shadow Guy, etc.) your code will get you into the first Treasure Book. Sorry for any confusion!

We hope you’re enjoying the Christmas Party. The team put a lot of effort into decorating the rooms so hopefully you’re finding some fun surprises as you explore.

The new mission will be ready December 29th, and I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s pretty unique because the PSA will be depending on you more than ever.
