Pirates Online - Full Moon Fever & Other Fall Festivities
Below is the latest news from Pirates Online.
Full Moon Fever & Other Fall Festivities — November 4 2008
The weekend of All Hallows’ Eve brought much mayhem to the Caribbean. We saw undead Pirates dancing around like zombies while both higher and lower level Pirates were swayed to Jolly Roger’s evil cause …
But thanks to Pirates like yourself, we were able to keep the curse contained to just a few days, fight off Jolly’s undead army, and delay his plans - at least for now. With the madness of the Muertos Moon behind us, it’s time to look ahead to the month of November.
In the Caribbean, fall is a time for the autumn harvest. It’s a time to reflect on the year and give thanks for the bounty of the islands. We’ll celebrate the autumn harvest with Pirates all over the Caribbean later this month with a grand Founders Feast on the beaches of Tortuga! The feast, hosted by our GMs and Founders will feature musicians, dancing and other traditions, and surprises that date back to European harvest festivals of old. Join us for the Founders Feast, November 27, 28, 29, and 30 on the beaches of Tortuga.
Another event you’ll want to mark on your calendar is the Tavern Takeover happening in taverns around the Caribbean later this month. Our GMs will be in-game telling Pirates of some great new additions to the Caribbean - more details on this event are coming soon! Discuss it in the Grog Blog.
